2024 Fall Winter

2024 Fall Winter Featured Collections

This Fall Winter season, we proudly unveil our latest collections, meticulously curated to showcase the enduring elements of color and value in architecture and design. These collections are more than just a palette of hues and textures—they represent a deep connection to design’s emotional and functional aspects, transforming spaces into expressive works of art.

In design, the integration of color and value goes beyond mere decoration—it becomes a tool for shaping spaces that resonate with purpose.

Color: Color is perhaps the most striking and influential design element regarding tiles, conveying mood, light, depth, and point of view. Utilizing the color wheel and the principles of color theory – a set of guidelines for mixing, combining, and manipulating colors – designers formulate color schemes. The vast spectrum of tile colors allows for endless possibilities in crafting a space’s desired ambiance and style.

Value: Value, the contrast between light and dark elements in a design, is another crucial aspect of tile design, influencing a space’s perceived size, brightness, and visual balance.

Tile trends of everything old is new again, just like fashion.

What is popular in both fashion and design, translates to tile. Vintage clothing styles we thought were gone for good are making a strong comeback, and the same is true for interior design. This revival includes classic size formats like 6″x6″ and 8″x8″, timeless materials such as terracotta and colorful marbles, and retro patterns like grids and pinwheels. However, instead of simply replicating these past trends, we’re seeing modern twists that make them fresh and relevant for today’s aesthetic.

Everything Old is New Again manifests through reviving historical design elements infused with modern innovation. Architects are reinterpreting traditional styles, materials, and forms, blending them with cutting-edge technology and contemporary sensibilities. This approach honors the past, while creating structures that feel both timeless and forward-looking.

Architectonic relates to architecture or architects.

With tile being a fundamental element in buildings throughout history, it’s no surprise that architecture inspires tile manufacturers. Leading ceramic brands are collaborating with top industry designers to infuse their unique creativity into this timeless material. Additionally, many are drawing inspiration from historic buildings and architectural details, including stained glass and Byzantine cut mosaics. These trends, highlighted at Coverings 2024, showcase the enduring connection between architecture and tile design.

Architectonic refers to something related to or characteristic of architecture or the design and structure of buildings. It often implies a sense of order, structure, and design coherence within the architectural field.

Slat tiles are popular in modern design as they had depth and texture.

Slats emerged as a key trend at Cersaie 2023, gaining momentum from earlier appearances at Cevisama and Coverings. The natural wood-slatted textures, iconic in mid-century modern design, are experiencing a resurgence in contemporary architecture. Integrating this aesthetic into commercial design can be challenging, making porcelain and ceramic tile options that mimic slats a perfect solution for these projects.

Slats in architecture refer to thin, narrow strips of material, typically wood, metal, or composite, arranged in parallel to create a linear pattern. Slats are often used in exterior and interior design for ventilation, privacy screens, shading systems, or purely decorative purposes, adding texture and depth to architectural surfaces.
